Eugene isn’t the prettiest of towns. We live in a pretty tree lined neighborhood with old houses painted funky colors and bizarre yard art. But, you walk a couple blocks in most directions and it’s all sprawl and run down shops. I have to say, my camera loves it. It’s almost too easy. When I lived in Seattle I had to go on hunts to find this stuff, while Eugene is a treasure trove of falling down shit.  This isn’t painting the best picture of the town, really it is a charming community with a lot of pretty! I’ve been asked lately about my next show, and I have to respond that I just don’t know. I’ve been producing so much, but nothing is really screaming out to go on the walls. I feel the need to do something with these images that I’ve been making, and I’ve been scanning through trying to find a common theme. I’ve been catching glimpses, but can’t quite grab it yet. Soon. When I catch it I’ll let ya’ll know.
