The dog, the boy and I are heading up to the Sound to spend the weekend with family. I’m thankful for that! I lead a very blessed life, have a roof over my head, food in the pantry, some cute shoes, a wonderful dog, great friends all over the country, a loving family, and a partner who not only puts up with my shit but is with me because of it. Thanks for all those things, and thanks for all of you. May your holiday be warm and your belly full.

Mage took me out to the coast for a wonderful mini-vacation. Eugene is only about 60 miles from the open water, but we never manage to get out there. Partly, it’s the beautiful and painfully winding road between here and there. Partly, it’s that we get stuck in front of our computers too much. The next few days should have some more posts, including some decay shots that I’m in love with. I’ve been swamped lately and am trying hard to keep up but I imagine I’ll be lagging behind until after the New Year. Part of this means that etsy hasn’t been updated in a long time. I am still selling prints, so if you see anything you are interested in let me know!
On Saturday, November 15th I attended my first protest in 8 years. Across the United States, in every single state, and in many countries beyond, people came together to speak their minds about human rights. I’m not going to go on about it, you guys can check out the website if you’d like at http://jointheimpact.com/
Eugene had about 300 people out on Saturday morning, and for our town that’s a decent size group. It was great to see my friends and coworkers together with the community that morning. I want to give back to the community, and so I’m offering my shots from that day under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative License. Pass them around, post them online, just don’t sell them or change them and remember to give me credit. Follow the link below to the slideshow.
