While walking my dog the other day I came across this adding machine. Well, I think it’s an adding machine. It’s heavy, it has number keys, and I don’t have any idea how it works. I think it’s lovely nonetheless.

Today was one of those days where you have to take the good with the bad. My laundromat fixed a bunch of machines: Good. The fixed machines were so hot my clothes got burned: Bad. I finally got to a site that I’ve been meaning to photograph: Good. There were a ton of cars and moving trucks in my shot: Bad. I found some shots anyway and the turned out nice: Good. It also turns out that my sensor is covered in dust: Bad.

But I wanted to get some shots up here anyway, rain and dust spots and all. So here’s to you HDR day!

I love comic book movies, and I love comic books. I love the heavy contrast, and the blatant good vs. evil.

And I love shooting in HDR. It makes me feel as though I live in a comic book world, where everything is hyper contrasted and every shot has a meaning.
